Serendie Street Yokohama, located in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai district, is a refined collaborative space thoughtfully designed to foster spontaneous interactions among individuals from diverse organisations. We were responsible for the design and production of desks, chairs, built-in shelves, tables, and interior finishes, working in collaboration with the design collective YOHAK DESIGN STUDIO. The wall-mounted bookshelves feature a seamless form that follows the architecture of the room. Their modular design allows for flexible customisation and straightforward maintenance, accommodating a variety of uses. Tables of varying sizes are positioned throughout the expansive 800-square-metre space. The industrial steel-framed ceiling is balanced by the warmth and texture of natural wood, creating a sophisticated contrast.
